Walking back home Broken compass Is this the woods or the sea? I can’t grasp its grainy substance Like in a dream Frustrated, crying, I limp through shadows Felt presence Ghostly humming The whole world seems to be Living on the buzz of these spires Or air-time reptile slithering Then I crawl back into dark water Words of wild birds Chimes or wave forms Under my footsteps I see Growing like participation wishes, It’s a map, underneath Then I swim deeper down in the ocean Smell of tree shapes Gripping somewhere I can touch and perceive The stone, the million eyes, the grey whale And the moon above me Then i am swallowed into my own lungs Closed the door Cut my arms off Is this noise from the streets? The insignificance of feeling empty-handed creeps over me I shut my mouth and go outside again

Where have you been? (never meant no harm) What have you done? (never meant no harm) And what's that scar (truly I don't know) Red witch, I'm out of this world Black sun parhelion, I have been in the darkest place with no dimensions, an ocean where intentions have no shape Grey to vermillon, I have been in the weirdest shape with no dimensions, a dungeon where intentions don't take place But blue sudden grace, I have been in the brightest place and I danced with the queen of bright-eyed elves to the end of tunnel glance left my heart in a sewer on my way back Never meant no harm Never felt no shape Did I feel any shapes?

about

A collection of broken compasses 2017-2021
The Kingdom of Four extends its dominion over this record. There is a chasm meandering for endless miles in the depths of the Earth. There, solitary, cold, the reptilian wyrm slithers through tortuous tunnels, slowly growling and growing eternally.
On the surface, where birds and crickets teach us songs, we dance glossy eyed among the trees, wander through shattered parking lots under the stars.
